• Your bill may seem larger than usual this month. There was a billing error last month that caused the bills to only show the base rate, not consumption. The usage for last month has been added to the current bill. If this causes you any inconvenience, please give us a call, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

• Leaf Pickup is beginning next week. Come to City Hall for bags. Bag your leaves and put them out on the curb for pickup on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• We are looking for volunteers for the Ethics Commission. Applications are available on the website and at City Hall.

• We are still replacing water meters around town – this will be an ongoing project over the winter.

• Beach Park clean-up: November 14 – 9-Noon – clean-up starts. Please bring gloves and hat and hydration. Let’s return our downtown beach to its pristine condition.

• City Hall will be closed for Veteran’s Day, November 11, and Thanksgiving, November 26 and 27.

• If you’d like an announcement posted either in this newsletter or on the city website, please submit it by the 25th of the preceding month.

Mayor’s Corner

What a year!!

Many of our lives
have seen chaos
and turmoil like never before in
2020. Remember
to take good care
of yourself and
your loved ones - 8
hours of sleep,
good nutrition,
lean on your friends and family.
Get organized and clear out the
clutter from the
closet. If you are
in trouble and need help, reach out and get it. Our
village has some
fun things coming
soon. Everything is
going to be ok.
